It’s a way of “sneaking in” adverts and plugs for other products as apart of your main sales process, whilst making it look apart of the primary promotion.
What does this mean to you?
Higher short-term customer value (more people will double or even treble their existing spend with you) and higher long-term customer value are the two primary benefits. When you plug other stuff in the context of the initial advert, it seems more relevant — and a larger percentage of people order it.
It also makes an excellent way to slot in affiliates promotions, too.
